Animism, though, that would be a very difficult idea to believe in. I already apologize to the chair when I run into it, so how bad would it be if I actually believed the chair had a soul?! I would just feel guilty for everything, all the time. Sorry toilet paper, sorry Prep-H, sorry toe-nail clippers! You all must have been turrible in a past life to have been placed inside such objects. STUFFED ANIMALS, THOUGH. The tears I would cry. But maybe the stuffed animals are the ones who lead evil past lives and were punished by being placed inside stuffed animals where they would be loved and cherished for a few years and then BAM - stuffed inside a box. That would be the real tragedy.
