Anna Maria Luisa de Medici, one of the last of the great Medicis, was born 11 August 1667. Antonio Franchi, 1680s. I definitely want to write a novel about her someday! The first image is Portrait of Anna Maria Luisa de Medici (1667-1743) from the 1680s, the second is one later on when she was married to the Elector Palatine, entitled, Double portrait of Johann Wilhelm von der Pfalz and Anna Maria Luisa de Medici by Jan Frans van Douven.
