Annie Annie Annie, her name is Annie. Will I ever remember?!?! LOL Anyway, she is doing great. She no longer wakes and acts like she doesnt know where she is, instead waking wagging her tail and giving me kisses. She is eating me out of dog food tho. Whoa! It would be helpful if she didnt feed her stomach contents to her foster puppies. They eat just fine without her, but once a mom always a mom I guess. I am starting to limit the number of pups surrounding her. Two at a time is more of a friend relationship then a litter of pups. She needs to learn she isnt their mom. She still has times, just as she did before, that I cant get her to come to me when called. I ask once, wait, then get up and ignore her. She watches me like a hawk, but I wont force her to come to me. At my home, where I KNOW she has no intentions of leaving, its just not a issue. She likes that. She feels better surrounded by her pack of brothers and sisters, so when she wont come, I let them stay close to her instead, for some confidence building. In fact, I will probably stop asking her to come to me at all unless she has a long lead attached to her. She has no problems listening to commands when on lead. Anyway, get used to these short stories of me thinking out loud. I will probably be doing it a lot. :) Annie sends tail wags and kisses to all who love her as much as her Mama does.
