Announcement The 5th edition of the Earth Care Awards has been launched EARTHCARE AWARDS Excellence in Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation - SAARC Region Countries Applications open for projects from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka The awards are an effort to recognize excellence in initiatives to counter climate change. The awards recognize efforts towards mitigation and adaptation initiatives by industries, communities and individuals. The award focuses on three important areas, GHG mitigation by large and small & medium industries, land use land use changes and water resources by community groups, NGOs and research and development institutions, and, climate protection policy intervention, products or services by institutions or individual innovators The award process involves application, site visits and assessment by eminent jury. We invite you to submit application of your project, product or service which reflects activities in line with the category focus.The categories are: 1. Innovations for Climate Protection 2. Emission reduction in Small and Medium enterprises 3. Emission reduction in Large scale industries 4.
