Annoyance number 22, people who fidget after finishing their transaction (especially when there are other people waiting behind them!) This morning, after ordering my food,I went to the counter to put creamer in my coffee and get the sugar free syrup. At this establishment, there are two cashier stations perpendicular to where, the counter wraps around the corner and the coffee station is at the end of this counter, so, if there are people at the first cashier station, there is very little room for anyone to put there desired additives to their coffee. This becomes more of a nuisance when there is an inconsiderate person who stands far enough away from the cashier to render the coffee station inaccessible. Okay, the shert version is, this lady who had already ordered her food is standing there, holding her change in one hand while rummaging through her bag with the other hand for several minutes, meanwhile, I was standing behind her this whole time waiting for the opportunity to just put some creamer in my coffee and grab the syrup. Well, after fidgeting for several minutes, she begins to transfer her two cups of coffee from the cashier side to the coffee station side. Of course, she can only move one cup at a time because she is holding her change in the other hand this whole time. After moving the second cup over, she notices me and says OH! There was no apology or anything and even after acknowledging my presence, youd think that there would be some semblance of haste but there was none whatsoever. In fact, Im pretty certain that she started to move even more s-l-o-w-l-y!!! This is beyond rudeness! To make matters worse, I tried joking with her and she actually looked at me with a disdainful scowl so as to say that I had no right to address her directly. What is wrong with people today? Needless to say, my day is ruined already so, nothing else to do but go back to bed and dream that this lady and all others like her are abducted by aliens and turned into humanoid robots that are used as servant/batteries for their virtual reality matrix system thing-a- ma-jiggy!
