Anon! Auditions this Saturday! Chickspeare™: Charlotte’s All-Female Shakespeare Co. Auditions for 2013 Season! Saturday, August 3rd, 11am – 4pm At Actor’s Theatre Of Charlotte 650 East Stonewall St. Charlotte, NC Shakespeare In The Park-ING Lot! This production is part of the ChicksBeer! Series at NoDa Brewing Co. The show dates are September 20, 21 and 22nd. Rehearsals will begin in late August. The show is a reduced Rude Mechanical portion from A Midsummer Night’s Dream. These productions are part of a recurring series of shows that combine fast paced, physical, high energy Shakespeare with the relaxing craft beer atmosphere of the brewery. Twelfth Night A full-scale, all-female production of William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night: or What You Will. The show dates are December 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, & 14th and will be performed at Actor’s Theatre of Charlotte. Rehearsals are in November. Auditions will consist of both a monologue and cold reading. Please be prepared with a 10-15 line comedic Shakespeare monologue. Wear comfortable clothing. Most importantly, relax and have fun! Auditions are by appointment only.
