Anon has asked: My lg is 16m and taking so long to go to sleep at night. She used to fall asleep on her milk but no longer does. (Although would go on her own at naps etc) We have a sleepy bedtime routine, Ive tried laying next to her, or keep putting her down, or leave her to chat (I go in if she cries) nothing works and she is taking over an hour to go to sleep. Its like she cant relax and drift off. I know shes tired but then suddenly full of beans. Have tried putting bedtime forward or later. I dont want to do cio. Does anyone have any suggestions please?
