Anon please, My husband and I are expecting our first child. Were very excited, and we agree on almost everything as far as how we want to raise our child, but we cant seem to agree when it comes to his parents. His mother is a chain smoker, and she smokes in the house. I want to keep our child away from his parents house, but he has the idea that if it was good enough for him to live in, it will be good enough for our child. Im 30 weeks pregnant, and Im already in Mama Bear mode (Im so protective of the little life that is growing inside of me). Im just wondering if anyone else has had to deal with this, and how did you handle the family members who dont see anything wrong with exposing children to cigarette smoke.
