Anon – For those US cloth diaper mommies and daddies out there, what are recommendations for a slightly skinny, average wetter 4 mo dd with a very loving and very supportive daddy who is highly skeptical of cloth diapering and easily grossed out? I’d really like to make the switch to reusables, but I’m having a bit of trouble convincing dh. I know that it takes some experimenting to find a diapering system that works for each individual baby, but I don’t think I have a lot of experimenting time. A few big leaky diapers and I know we’ll be back in disposables ASAP. The economics of cloth diapers is a big selling point to dh, but I know that the least expensive prefold options are probably asking too much of him – so I’m trying to strike a balance between economics and ease of use. Also, we live in a place with wonky plumbing so flushable inserts are not an option (we don’t even flush toilet paper!) BumGenius? Fuzzi Bunz? Thirsties? GroVia? gDiapers? Please help!
