Anonymous: I need help, Im desperate! Ive read article after article on synthetic marijuana and I also read what happened to Emily, and first off I want to send my deepest condolences to your family, but Im happy to read of some improvement! My daughters father and I were together 7 years before we became pregnant with our first child. He started smoking synthetic marijuana before I became pregnant and that was over 2 years ago. We have not been together in a year because of his addiction. When we were together, I left him at home with the baby so I could go to work, and I got a phone call at work from him saying he couldnt breath that he felt like he was about to have a heart attack, and that his heart was beating so fast. I rushed home from work and called the ambulance. They didnt end up taking him to the hospital, and he didnt tell them he had been smoking that. He still smokes it to this day, and if he doesnt smoke it before bedtime, he cant sleep. It causes MANY arguments between us, he doesnt see his daughter, he complains of shortness of breath, he wont listen to me when I beg him to quit. I have even let him come live with me so he wasnt around it, and anytime he is out of my sight, he smokes and tries to hide it from me. I dont know what to do anymore? I dont want my daughter to lose her dad behind this addiction. Hes only 25, he still has his whole life ahead of him. Can you please help me? Give me some advice, anything! Im desperate! Thank you.
