Anonymous shares: My son is 10 years old and goes to a private school for Autistic children in NY. He has been attending this school for two years. May 9, 2014 my son had a melt down. This school has a no restraint policy. My son had a melt down and came home bruised and scratched. The school called me and said everything he did and how they sent him to the school nurse because he complained of feeling his skin burning. After seeing him when he came home I asked him what happened. I called the school and asked to see the video that they use to protect the child and the staff. After going to the school and not being able to see the incident because first they showed me the wrong time. The next day they showed me 2 minutes segments that were 36 seconds long I put my foot down. I reminded them that it was my right to view this video. Finally today we were able to view the indecent. I called the police and put in a complaint of abuse. The teacher came to the school through an agency was chocking my son with my son arms wrapped around his neck. My son told him to let go of him twice. This man did not release my son instead he restrained him tighter and put pressure on my son back while he was on his knees the whole time telling my son you had enough. I am not going to stop until this man has absolutely no contact with any child especially one of special needs. I write to you today to please pass the word. Dont allow your childs bruises during a melt down to go unquestioned. We are there voices ask find out we are there voices and no child should be treated wrong or abused because They have no control over there condition. Please ask, what ever it takes never ignore.
