***Another 30 falls to the LIVE SYSTEM*** James Hutton takes up the story: After moving swims on the 3rd day of the session I was rewarded with three carp in quick succession. I landed a mid-double mirror before I had even cast out the 2nd rod. This was followed by a mid-double common and then I was duly rewarded with a belting 30lb 12oz mirror. It just goes to show that a bit of effort in moving can equal reward at this time of year. All fish were taken using the Withy Pool rig and this was my first 30lb carp using it which gives me confidence. I fished a Live System cork ball pop-up over 10mm, 15mm and 18mm Live System offerings at 50yrd range in some firm silt just off of a large weedbed. Its really doing the business for me this year.
