Another Champion Athlete preparing for the IFBB Arnold Classic in Melbourne! Check out Ashley Gluchowski! Thanks to Moe ElMoussawi for the opportunity Heres a message from Ashley: Only 53 more days until we land in Melbourne and check in for the Arnold Classic Australia. This will be only my second comp prep ever. My first competition took place May 2014 in the South Island where I placed 1st in the Open Figure Tall Category. I received an invite to Nationals and also to the Arnold Classic. I choose to forgo Nationals in hopes that Id be able to put on more size in time for Australia. I recently returned from spending the last 6 weeks in Canada, in 27 below weather, during the Christmas holidays with family, friends and home cooked meals I have not seen or eaten in a year and a half. Being determined enough to stick by my meal plan and training sessions during that time was a true accomplishment in itself. Now that I am back in NZ, Ive kicked it up a notch, adding cardio at 5am each morning before I lecture and then work on my own PhD studies at AUT University. I am beyond excited for this opportunity that the NZIFBB has provided. My goals are to come in with more muscle mass, especially in the shoulders and quads and the same great conditioning as in South Island. I am eager to see the side by side on stage pictures to see what changes I have been able to make in the last 10 months or so. A special special special thank you to Tarren, for without her, this journey is not possible. I always look forward to seeing her beautiful smiling face and listening to her knowledgable advice. There is no better feeling than the feeling that comes with belonging to the Champion Army!!
