Another Chance Prisoner Reentry Meeting Apex School of Theology 1353 13th Avenue Columbus, Georgia 31901 October 25, 2014 10 AM - 2 PM Judge Not Inc would like to invite you to the Another Chance Reentry Meeting in Columbus, Georgia The meeting will be held on October 25, 2014. Apex School of Theology. At the meeting, we will give a brief explanation of the history and mission of the Judge Not Incs Another Chance Reentry Meeting and discuss our community’s resources, hole and obstacle in regard to prison reentry. Our goal is to develop a strategy for ensuring that prisoners returning Citizens released from prison will have the tools and support needed to succeed in the community. There are approximately 400 prisoners returning to Columbus each year and they often leave prison with little or no resources for a successful reentry into the community. As a result, almost 27% return to prison within three years of release. Another chance is about equipping returning citizens with the tools and knowledge to: a) How to get their records expunge b) Inform returning citizens which records can possibly be expunge. c) Make available resources for jobs d) Provide clothing for job interviews e) Feed the hungry f) Provide education to learn technical skills g) How to obtain insurance for your family h) Provide resources to obtain housing We value your support and expertise.
