Another Daily Bible Devotion > Saturday 8-2-14 ☛ WAIT PATIENTLY FOR Habakkuk 2:3 NIV ✞For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.✞ {Insight} IT CAN BE RATHER DIFFICULT EMOTIONALLY WHEN WERE BEING MISTREATED OR HARMED BY OTHERS. PLUS, our humanly instinct is to immediately ATTACK BACK! HOWEVER, THATS NOT what God has planned for us to respond so negatively. We should WAIT PATIENTLY, STAY OUT OF THE WAY, AND LET GOD LEVY ANY PUNISHMENT ON HIS TIME. Jesus tells us in Matthew 5:44 +But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,+. See, God wants us to pray for our enemies, not hurt em. It sure is too easy to harm like that anyway. Let us keep the good faith and believe what He says. :) (Insight added & edited}
