Another Day Another Year Seventeen degrees A bone chilling ride Some dont understand So they have to ask why I can state proudly That Ive ridden all year As one comes to end And a new one begins Starter button frozen Clutch handle too Forget the turn signals Arm gestures will do I do have to say She started right up After using a bic lighter To unfreeze some parts Thirty degrees On the ride home from work Put in some miles And then made a stop Picked up deicer For tomorrows AM So now Im prepared To do it again © Eddie Sorez 12/11/13 Road Scribes Of America ™
