Another FER success. Mirrah came to me at 10.1 hh. Dont know what she weighed but I picked her up and put her in my trailer and I cant pick up more than 200 lbs....she was much less than that. She had a hoof injury a pastern injury and a serious fungal lung infection. No light in her eyes. We estimated her at 6-9 months old. Vet thought she wouldnt make it. A depressed sick filly. Also nobody but me believed she would get over 12 hh. Well today she is 15.3 hh and working her way up to being head mare of my herd. She is just 3 years old and lightly started under saddle. I dont really use my horses until they are 5 years old.
