Another Job Opening Part-time web and print designer needed for various client design and production art projects for online and print. Established small Boutique advertising agency/design firm in Westlake Village seeks part-time designer to assist in producing websites, e-newsletters and e-blast as well as a host of print materials. We have large corporate, transportation, government and healthcare clients with a variety of challenging projects. We have been in business since 1991 and have received many industry awards. This is a great opportunity for a skilled designer who has another job and wishes to supplement their income. Fun projects include designing webpages, logos, e-newlsetters, annual reports, signage, display booths, newsletters, event promotions and vehicle wraps. All work to be done in-house only in Westlake Village location. YOU MUST BE LOCAL AND BE ABLE TO TRAVEL TO WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA (50 miles north of Downtown Los Angeles and 60 miles South of Santa Barbara). Ideal candidate should possess an easy-going personality and the ability to multi-task and to deal with multiple rounds of client and art director’s edits. We prefer a quick learner who is not afraid to tackle technological challenges. Hours: Part-time, depending on our workload. Flexible hours. We can generally work around your schedule but we need consistent hours. Workload depends on client needs. Great opportunity for someone who has additional work and wishes to supplement their income. Generally 15 hours per week, 4-5 hours on each of the selected days. Can be day hours or Wednesday or Friday evenings. Saturday hours also preferred. Skills: Must be fluent in Adobe In-Design CS 6 on Mac OSX, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator and Dreamweaver. Must have a knowledge of creating web. Excellent work ethic and professional integrity is essential. Client confidentiality and adherence to corporate brand standards is absolutely essential. The qualified candidate must: —Must be familiar with Mac OS X and Adobe Creative Suite —Have actual sample of client projects (not just student work) —Be able to manage their own projects and work under tight deadlines —Be reliable and professional and extremely organized and be able to take directions and work independently. Candidate should be on time and extremely dependable. —Should have a advanced coursework and degree in computer graphics/design. —Can deal with multiple rounds of client edits —Must be extremely detail oriented, professional and organized and know the ins and outs of setting up art for the Web. —Must be able to take a 90-minute skills test in Dreamweaver and InDesign. —Employee must respect confidentiality of our clients and must sign a non-compete agreement. —Must like dogs and cats —Experience working with social media platforms is a plus.
