Another Orwellian nightmare or a good idea? Whats your take? The stats say LED lights are 90% more efficient and a lot brighter indeed, so sure, why not---I can go for all of that... But, the double-edged sword is, now the embedded camera infrastructure can be used to facilitate a spy state and people are going to forgo any semblance of privacy they would have otherwise had. I think the cameras should only be installed and activated if there are repeated incidents of crime.
