**Another Wet Storm System On The Way** We are just less than 2 days away from another storm system affecting the region with more, potentially heavy rainfall. This storm is just now beginning to dig into the western US, and will strengthen tonight and tomorrow as it kicks out into the Plains. As for today, expect the winds to really pick up as the pressure gradients tighten. Winds will likely approach 30 mph later this afternoon, with some gusts near 40 mph, especially across IA, KS, NE, and western Missouri. temperatures have rebounded very nice this afternoon and should top out in the upper 50s to lower 60s across the area. Rain and thunderstorms will likely develop after 1:00 AM Monday night, but the main area of thunderstorms wont move into the area until around 2:00 PM Tuesday, with a 100% chance of rain, some very heavy at times. I am expecting the rain to push out of the area by Wednesday morning. So how much rain will fall? I am thinking another 1 - 2 likely in several spots. I will post my rainfall forecast map on Monday!!
