Another awesome week in the Wimmera, work and play; attending Landcare community consultation to hear of budget cuts to landcare :-( Followed by other more positive experiences; controlling Boneseed weed in Nurcoung Flora Fauna Reserve, exploring the endangered Mallee Fowl mounds, planting trees and shrubs in Rainbow with over 150 other people, direct seeding workshop and seeing the endangered Red tailed black cockatoos, tour of bush properties being restored and seeing Malleefowl. All followed by an evening with some of Australias adorable endangered wildlife including; Rufous bettong, brush tailed bettong, sugar gliders and more! Thanks Iestyn Hosking, Jess Fraser, Bernie Fox, Sue Hayman-Fox and Clive Crouch for a week of learning, work and fun! :-)
