Another bazaar incident, last night, concerning my reading of the book, Psalm 91 and a correlating Bible reference. I read verses 5 and 6, and Mrs. Peggy Joyce Ruths profound explanations,with real-life stories. You will not be afraid...of the pestilence that stalks in darkness....sicknesses and disease epidemics. Mrs. Ruth gave a personal example of how this affected her, and when she started studying this psalm, she didnt know if she had the faith to believe these promises. God, however, reminded me that FAITH IS NOT A FEELING. Faith is simply CHOOSING to believe what He says in His Word. I put the book down, and reached for my bible, saying, Lord, show me again your power and majesty. I let my fingers randomly open, and would have read Deut. 29, but the previous page was crimped to the top with the page before, and I looked down and started reading all the words I had underlined no telling how long ago in Deut. 28, correlating exactly with the blessings mentioned in Psalm 91:5-6. NOW my dear children, believe me when I tell you the truth. I picked up Mrs. Ruths book to preview what I read last night to write here for you on Facebook. Scrolling down the page, I saw the words, The pestilence mentioned in Psalm 91:6 is spelled out in detail in DEUTERONOMY 28 I promise you that I had NOT read this before. Even if I had, my fingers would not have randomly opened there... You tell me, is this the Hand of God? Yes, yes, yes.... One of those believe it or not stories....whew! Im walking on air! I am a privileged daughter of the MOST HIGH God. Dwelling under His shadow.
