Another brave School Board member. She sent me a nice letter, which I hope she will give me permission to share with you. It essentially said that since the 80s, education in Utah has been pulled to the state level and 10 years ago it was codified in law. It sounds like we need to get our legislature on board with repealing that law and allowing local school boards to have the authority to set standards and curriculum.
