Another building collapsed, this time an uncompleted hotel 8 storey building at Nii Boi Town, Accra. This is the fourth building to collapse in 2yrs if am right. Barely two years ago, the fatal Melcom incident happened, not to remember peoples pain, what policy direction have we done as a country considering High Rise Buildings. Not to talk about the May 9 stadium disaster. We have become a country of talkative from our Parliament, Media, Churches, in our homes; we only know how to talk without taking actions. Whos checking work permit, monitoring such buildings from time to time as to whether the right building materials are used, where are the building technicians, engineers etc. The Government need to sit up and formulate policies to regulate such buildings in the country to prevent greedy individuals killing innocent Ghanians. As much as I agree we need more High Rise Buildings as we develops, we should think of the safety of our people first. #Ghanafirst#
