Another day of favor on Day 211. It was a really good day for Stone . I guess the biggest thing is his numbers were good today. They were actually down some since Friday . There are many things to be taken into consideration when judging kidney function but one of the big ones is his BUN. Upon arrival back in Birmingham, Stone was running in the 70s to 80s. A few weeks later he was in the 50s to 60s. A few weeks later his Kidneys are in the 40s to 50s. Last Friday his Bun was 35. Today it was 31even after not having dialysis for two days. Normal range is 7 to 17. Every week hes marching closer and closer. Doctors want entertain the idea of kidney recovery for Stone. They want even begin to consider that idea . Amy and I have always just given it to the Lord and we still do today . Look at how many things Stone has overcome already that THEY said would never happen. The prayers of this army have been answered time and time again. This army has moved mountains when they wouldnt even try. Your prayers are needed now in a big way . Thank God tonight for what Hes done for you in your life . For answering your prayers for the Stoneman. Tell God you Believe in miracles because hes shown us one in Stone . I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God can heal Stones kidneys and have him off that machine faster than a cat can lick his butt. The day is coming for that to happen. The day is coming when Stone is reunited with his class at Pickens Academy and reunited with his baseball team. Every thing we have asked of the Lord He has provided . No, it didnt happen when or how we wanted; but it happened. Amy and I keep things in perspective a lot of times by saying: What if eight weeks ago,back in Texas, Somebody told us Hey in eight weeks you are going to be home and this is going to be better and thats going to be gone and hes going to be doing all these things that are in front of us everyday. We would have jumped for joy and cried like babys and thanked the Lord over and over. Weve done this many times through out the ride . Every Time the favor keeps coming . Prayers answered . So why should we think now after all this that God is done with this story. No, it just keeps getting better and better . Tonights sunset showed me just a little bit of Gods Glory and here at the Ridge we are just hanging on for the ride believing Stonestrong !! Train rolls on!!
