Another example of organizational brilliance: I work in a very large building, situated in such a manner that 99.9% of folks have to park in the back - way in the back - usually a solid 5 minute walk...as a result, the back is in fact the main entrance with the front being reserved for senior staff. Today, they decided to hold a change of Command ceremony in the back and will not let anyone out the doors to their cars! Theyre forcing everyone to walk completely around the building to their vehicles, which easily adds 10 minutes. Im all for pomp and circumstance - but these folks are idiots.
