Film Study @ 4pm- 5pm Our Films, their Films: Screening of two student films - one Vidhu Vinod Chopras Murder at the Monkey Hill , duration 24 minutes and second Kundan Shahs Bonga, duration 23 minutes. The viewing of these two films will give you insight where you stand after during 11 days class at IMI in compare to 3 yrs graduation Program of a premier Film Institute. 2.) New Talent on horizon @ 5.00pm - 6.30pm Screening of Short Feature: OFF FOCUS - by Tathagata Ghosh, duration 87 minutes. The Film revolves around the making of a film and the journey of self revelation of those involved. The actor, director, actress,cinematographer, singer set out on a journey to make an independent film and in the process discover much more in life than they expected via a series of unexpected twists and turns of events. Tathagata Ghosh, a graduate of St.Xaviers college Kolkata and is currently now going for his script writing masters in Canada.He had written and directed 16 short films which were nominated, awarded, selected and screened in various film festivals in India. One of his short films The Big Holocaust had been nominated for the best film award at the 8th John Abraham National Awards,2014. 3.) Coffee with Celebrity @ 6.45pm to 7.45pm Art Films v/s Commercial Films- Marketing Realities in Bengali Film Industry & Hindi Film Industry.
