Another false lead in the MH370 story. For those who havent been following this story as closely as I have, here is what we know... - Two passengers were flying on board with stolen passports. These two tickets were purchased at the same time in the same location. - The plane was about to enter Vietnamese airspace when the flight disappeared on radar. - No distress calls were sent to any towers before the flight disappeared. - The last known location of the plane was 100s of miles off its planned course. - 5 days after the crash there is still NO sign of wreckage. So what are the possible scenarios? (Ranked on my opinion) 1. Pressure-loss in cockpit + pilots failing to put mask on in time. This would cause both pilots to pass out. (or possibly attempt to turn the plane around) 2. Flight hijacking - Transponders can easily be turned off inside the cockpit and could also explain why the aircraft was hundreds of miles off course. 3. Extreme Power-Loss - Pilots would then be flying blind, which would cause them to attempt to turn around. Although transponders use very little power so it would have been the last component on the plane to go dark. 4. Explosion - This would have to be catastrophic because the pilots never reported an emergency. This doesnt explain why the plane was 100s of miles off course. This also would cause a fairly large debris field, but yet investigators have found nothing. Still curious to see how this turns out and also still praying for everyone affected by this tragic event.
