Another great moment to add to the summer 2014 memory bank with Marcel Watier, Arnold Linares - and Joe even could join us! Watching the air show from the Legion also brought back memories of time spent with my family at Branch 530 in Waterloo. From learning to dance by standing on the feet of grandmother to celebrating my uncles wedding to tons of food at Oktoberfest and Pancake Tuesdays, I experienced a lot of love in a place that, in some ways, had its roots in violence. Also an appropriate place to mark Labour Day (with a Crown Royal and Coke), given my grandfathers time with the union at Seagrams. Wherever you are today, I hope youve been able to make a positive deposit to your memory bank!
