Another great nite at NCBRA! The girls and I improved our times in everything this week! Skys expo barrel run on Mert gave her glimpse of what its is really like to turn a barrel which caused her lose to loose her concentration and went the wrong way around the 3rd but she said she is determined to try again next week and get it dialed in! Thank you Sam Bump for giving her this opportunity to really step it up! Sky was elated by her youth barrel run on Jasper taking 5 or 6 seconds off her time from last week. The joy that explodes out of her when she comes out of the arena is a blessing to anyone in a ten foot radius! My niece Kalee Cook did a great job on her barrels, great hands and natural on what to do! Jasper gave Hayden a tuff time in the pattern but she made him work anyway and they has a smokin fast ribbon pulling run and finally beat her sister (Sky doesnt ever care but Hayden is SUPER competitive!) And to top it all off got to hang out with one of my FAVORITE Barrel Racing fanatics Lori Clementshaw who also gave me some very important advice that i am absolutely taking!
