Another link in the corruption train that taints all of politics in every State. If people cant empathise with the people being directly damaged by this corruption, surely they can join the dots on how it is actually affecting them in the long run. The seemingly small fish being affected are part of a chain of evidence of the systemic corruption that taints everything. When we view what is going on with the Barrier Reef damage & the coal, C.S.G. / fracking industry & cant understand how these obviously wrong actions occur, this corruption joins the dots. The end effect on people is demonstrated with ultra high fuel prices when previous governments have sold our oil reserves cheaply. The same is happening with natural gas. Through obvious corruption foreign companies are taking resources that should provide future security & wealth for us & future generations. We are getting an astoundingly poor return for these resources while at the same time having our environment damaged. People need to join these dots. The corruption revealed in this story is astounding in the obvious nature of it & the frightening comfort our politicians have knowing they can remain unaccountable due to the corrupt commercial media. Maybe our foolish public need to watch a little less brain destroying commercial television & stuff designed to occupy idiots & get a grasp on things that really matter & actually directly affect them. The A.B.C. has exposed so much of this corruption recently that if people were aware of it there would be a call for change. The point is, we are not fully informed & what is desperately needed is any facility to bring this about & one things abundantly clear is the A.B.C. needs more funding , not less & the people pay their way to have this much needed right.
