Another passage: Alice, my life has been comparable to walking down an abandoned street at night, slowly the sun comes above the horizon, and you find several abandoned building polluting your eyesight...you feel a chill in the air and you want to go inside one of the buildings to get warm, possibly rest for a few hours before pressing on...Which building do you dare enter? The safest looking structure looks like an old school, but you are terrified to go in there because something will evoke memories of a childhood you tried to put behind you...Walk through the foyer and maybe you will see children of various ages running through the halls to get their classrooms before the late bell rings...cut to your right and enter the cafeteria, and you might see noon time aides breaking up a scuffle between two junior flyweights...return to the hall and walk straight ahead...what scene will unfold next?...Will it be around the corner or at the top of the stairs? You remember walking up the stairs in dreams before and that always implies that you are searching for something, or so your psychology book will tell you...but what the Pulitzer Prize winning author does not realize, nor could he possibly comprehend is that dreams take on their own imagination, and while you are walking down the halls of this school those forces of evil that you never thought were possible are waiting behind those doors, or possibly they know that you have invaded their world and they are descending on that school, waiting to traumatize you...If I bring you along to this school, Alice, you will see my aberration, walking along these halls, the same way you recognized me from the bedroom scenario of a long abandoned house... Did I evoke feelings of jealousy in you, by opening that bedroom door... that a memory is taking me away from you or held me be back from meeting you long before we did? Is it envy, and you covet what the other has written down in her diary?
