Another poem by me: Ive been laughing at the same joke for 15 years. Its too late for it to be a pity laugh yet too early to be gut busting laughter. This is my homi-suicide guffaw. Rock bottom is too shallow for where I belong. And all these friends who have given up on me made me give up on myself. Im waving my white flag, but the war wages on. Ill remember the soldiers who still stood on my side. The day of silence is the day I beg for. The day when the laughter will drop. Where the joke wont be funny anymore. The day of silence is the day all opinions can be shared without saying a word. If action speaks louder than words, then why is the pen mightier than the sword? My action is Russian Roulette with an automatic pistol. My words are laughter. My pen is a live bullet. My sword is the itch in my brain. Im walking down a path Ive never seen before and I wish I didnt walk alone. Im a social misanthropic person who is stuck in lonely company. A living oxymoron. Maybe just a moron. Now I hear the laughter. I want to be on the top of the world, but at the bottom of the universe. The highest of the lows. But I dont deserve it. Ive been laughing at the same joke for 15 years. And after 15 years, Ive realized, Im the joke.
