Another successful Supper Club night in the Home Cafe!! We had a to die for cheese soup to start out followed by our famous Sawdust salad served on bed of Swiss Chard. There was an option of Torsk or Prime Rib served with Cowboy Mashed Potatoes and Creamed Corn (real creamed corn, not just out of the can) with your very own personal rustic loaf of bread served on a plank! For dessert we had a Butterscotch cake with a frosting that resembled Penuche candy more than frosting! Great repeat customers and some new ones. We even had a couple that came across the river on the Virgil Ferry to eat with us! There is not much Torsk left but there is some Prime Rib left for sandwiches today and only about 5 pieces of the cake so if you want to try it better get there! The ex county commissioner that has become a regular said It is the best Prime Rib in the state!
