Another tragic shooting. I cant help but think about the family and how my heart breaks for his wife and children. I know what its like to have a loved one leave this earth without saying goodbye. Whether it be from a fatal choice to do something out of character that produces death, or just a tragic accident. its still a very hard situation to deal with. I thought about the young man that commented this crime...why did he do this? Why did he murder an innocent man? How did he get to that point? And why did he not murder the woman that he walked by as she stood frozen in shock of all that was happening? I have said it before and I will say it again. There is a evil in this world that wants nothing more than to drag as many people as possible to hell with him. It started all the way back in the garden of Eden when the serpent deceived Adam and Eve. God created everything in 6 days and at the end of the 6th day He said, it is very good! Death and suffering didnt enter the world until Adam and Eve gave into temptation. Everything was perfect. But because of their disobedience all of mankind is cursed. This is why people do these evil acts. We are born with sin. Do you have to teach a child to lie? No, they do it without anyone teaching them. I feel sorry for this young man that commented this crime. I wonder if anyone shared Gods truth with him, I wonder if he understood the penalty of his choices. And this is the deal, we dont have to commit murder to go to hell. All it takes is not believing in the one that died for all mankind and not acknowledging that we have sinned against a holy and righteous God. He knows we arent perfect, we cant be. This is why Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a perfect life, walked this earth and died on the cross for me, you, and rose again on the third day. And now is seated at the right hand of his Father waiting for his creation to come to him. And believe it or not, if this young man would acknowledge his sin against God, and repent, he too would go to heaven. But he will still be punished on this earth. And he should be. Now that is a loving, merciful, and holy God. Buddha, all the Hindu gods, and Muhammad definitely cant do that. Where are you placing your eternity today? We all have one thing in common, we will all die, we have to decide while we are still alive where we will spend our eternity. God will not force himself on you, but it his will for all to come to him. 16FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONE AND ONLY SON, THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. 17 FOR GOD DID NOT SEND HIS SON INTO THE WORLD TO CONDEMN THE WORLD, BUT TO SAVE THE WORLD THROUGH HIM. 18 WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM IS NOT CONDEMNED, BUT WHOEVER DOES NOT BELIEVE STANDS CONDEMNED ALREADY BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOT BELIEVED IN THE NAME OF GODS ONE AND ONLY SON. 19THIS IS THE VERDICT: LIGHT HAS COME INTO THE WOULD, BUT PEOPLE LOVED DARKNESS INSTEAD OF LIGHT BECAUSE THEIR DEEDS WERE EVIL. 20EVERYONE WHO DOES EVIL HATES THE LIGHT, AND WILL NOT COME INTO THE LIGHT FOR FEAR THAT THEIR DEEDS WILL BE EXPOSED. JOHN 3:16-20
