Another treasure just given to me. Murt Wenzel brought me this mystery photo today to post on this FB group after she had tried unsuccessfully to learn who the new mother was. I didnt have to post it to find out. I knew immediately. It is Erma Kludt Engberg, daughter of Otto and Otille Kludt and sister of Darlene Kludt. The Otto Kludt family are near and dear to the Roscoe and Helen Dean family and were for many years. I believe Ermas wedding was the first I ever attended...it was in the Methodist Church. (My classmate, Nyla Holzwarth Cheyney was flower girl for her cousins wedding.) And of course all of us recognize Esther DeJong. This baby might be Ermas oldest son, David Engberg, who would be nearly 60 now. Probably born around 1957? Erma had 4 boys so this could be one of the younger boys instead. 2 of her boys were severely disabled from birth. This boy looks healthy, so I think he might be the oldest. Erma has one sister left - Mildred Kludt Brown RN whose picture Ive posted here earlier. Erma has a double cousin - Jerry Kludt still living in this community.
