Another very productive night of teaching and training at Lovatos Brazilian Jiu Jitsu!! I taught the Kids Wrestling class first, and we had a great time!! We went through our warm-ups, line drills, and takedown drills, and then I showed the two takedowns to help them get ready for the American Grappling Federation tournament this Saturday. We only did one round of takedown sparring as everyone in the class was competing. Congrats to Cat Zila for being the kids wrestling student of the night!! Immediately after that I taught the Teen Warriors class, and they are looking in top form for the tournament. We did a lot of drilling to get ready, and I took a few questions to help them feel as prepared as possible. Congrats to Peter Richard Miller for being the Teen Warrior student of the night!! I jumped into Professor Rafael Lovato Jr.s advanced class, and he taught some great back attack strategy for no-Gi, and I got Im some great sparring rounds with Shawn Ezell and Andrew Vu to end the evening!! Cant wait for Muay Thai practice tomorrow morning with Mark H Beecher III!! Everyday I feel myself improve just a bit more!!
