Another warm n fuzzy piece of local history, fades to black. Once, diners were open round-the-clock - thats what we once said, before we discovered that involved too many words to say, so somebody shortened it to 24/7. But nowadays, most diners close around midnight - for a myriad of reasons - safety, the economy, etc. There was always something special about diners. Mostly, that you could get a good meal at any hour - including breakfast anytime - and a cup of freshly-brewed, piping-hot coffee, too! Another piece of Americana has disappeared. R.I.P. Aramingo Diner - you served one helluva great piece of cheesecake!
