Anthony Nnaemeka Ugwunweze: In my village and in some other parts of igbo land there are some practises that are considered to be sacrilegious (nso ala) they are (1.Suicide, he who commits it the corpes is thrown out into evil forest because one shouldnt in any way kill him or herself maka na chijindu mmadu nile (2. Women donnot climb palm tree or break cola nut. Nwanyi adighi ari elu nkwu ma obu waa oji. (3. Women do not eat birds gizard (Nwanyi anaghi eri eko okuko. (4 A child doesnt see the nakedness of his or her mother, (nwanta anaghi afu oto nne ya. AND MANY MORE.... IGBO People forbides them to the core. But it is quiet unfortunate that such law and restrictions are no fully obeyed by some folks mainly the ladies of nawadays. It is therefore very important that you take note of them to avoid being caught up by the wrath of the law of the land or deities. Chetanu nso ala di. Yagazie!
