Anti-GST rally | Not at Dataran Merdeka Inspector-General of Police Khalid Abu Bakar said today there has been no feedback from the organisers of the anti-goods and services tax rally, set for Labour Day on May 1. It’s to start from the Kuala Lumpur City Centre and then head to Dataran Merdeka. Khalid said in a discussion on April 16, the organisers were told that Dataran Merdeka is being repaired. PSM secretary-general S Arutchelvan (right), along with other NGO leaders were in attendance and met KL Public Order and Internal Security chief Senior Assistant Commissioner Wan Abdul Bari Wan Abdul Khalid, and Dang Wangi district police chief Zainuddin Ahmad. “The police are still awaiting their response.
