Anti-police protestors have to find a way to demonstrate outrage without causing outrage in innocent civilians they grossly inconvenience. And speaking of outrage, I still believe the release of the torture report was an unnecessary self-inflicted wound. A couple of sentences would have sufficed. Yes, for a time we did bad things because we were angry and afraid. Yes, we are sorry. No, we will never do it again. How will we feel when an American is tortured and defiled by a terrorist using the report as justification and claiming an eye for an eye as he slits the victims throat?
