Anty Hips-dont-lie and uncle Franco are behind closed doors and uncle is confessing Jesus. He is shouting Jesus I love you, Jesus I will serve you but he has not started speaking in tongues yet. speak in tongues, I give you utterance. Speak! Anty commands as she hits uncle Franco. A knock comes on the door, its uncle Francos mum. She had a dream, she saw it in a vision that Anty was beating her son so she rushed down. Mama is a prayer-warrior too but not like Anty Hips-dont-lie. Mama is not a man beater and mama does not speak in unknown tongues. Tonight our house will be turned into a prayer battleground. Mama will be shouting in her room, calling upon Jesus and Angel Michael to save Uncle Franco from Anty Hips-dont-lie. Anty will be shouting in tongues in her own room too. I will seat in the parlour as though am clueless like Ugwu in Half of a Yellow Sun. Farida Adamu
