Any insight would be helpful. I had my doggie Peewee neutered with the free program from Simi Valley this past Thursday and I am grateful since both my husband and I just got laid off. And we are recovering from vet bills with my beloved Pekingese Frisco who just passed. Since Pewee got home hes just been sleeping if you move him he screams. Ive neutered two other dogs and a cat. One of them got an infection and, even so, was happy as could be. Peewee is tiny chihuahua. Hes two. I rescued him a year ago. He seems miserable just sleeps. We wake him to eat and drink. We have to spoon feed and put water drops in his mouth to get him to take water then he licks. I think hes in pain. Sorry for the graphic pic... Does this look normal? He had surgery Thursday and got all his shots. Im trying not to overreact. Hes sleeping comfortably and calmly. He ate a little and drank a little water. Although, we cant really afford another vet bill I will take him if general consensus is I should. Thank you for the support.
