Any of my friends that deal with Centra have received the tell us your story! Email...? Here is mine: My grandmother started my first account around 20 years ago as a Quarters Bears account. I had taken a loan to purchase a vehicle through Centra in which ended being the first loan I had ever had and paid in full. I had also taken a small personal loan from Centra that was also paid in full. My dream was to start my own business. Being centra was the only bank I had ever dealt with I first approached Centra. The loan officer asked how much The loan amount would be which was $10,000. He then asked if I had anything as collateral at which point I offered my 1999 dodge 2500 ext. cab 4x4 valued at $9,000. This man informed me I do not want your truck I was in shock. This man then informed me I would be best applying for credit cards to start a business. Years later I had asked another loan officer about building a home. I was informed at this time I was required 50% down to build. I dont know how many of you have $50,000 to build a new $100,000 house but your average American does not have $50,000 in their account. Now I have an auto loan for $28,000 through Huntington, $95,000 mortgage through Wells Fargo, a credit card through Capital One and I honestly do not know why I still deal with Centra!
