Any one ever meet the fricken ghost on Tower 5? One late night I was SOBER and NOT STONED either (Not that I would ever do such a thing....2300hrs. I hear someone climbing up my tower steps. (Very distinctive). I immediately thought OH FK Duty officer trying to catch me sleeping. I got up from the SUPINE position (meditatng of course) and got my gear on and went outside to challenge the person climbing up my steps. To my surprise there was no one there. I thought OK WTF??? I went back into the nice warm tower and then heard the steps climbing again. Now the hair on the back of my neck stood up. Chills went through my spine. I called the adjacent tower and asked Bob to shine his lite on my A/O. He saw nothing, No rabbits, no birds, no humanoids, no terrorists, no LT, no deer. Soo..........I sat back on my stool a little freaked out and then the sound started again. This time I locked and loaded my M16 and waited. Then I felt someone STARING at me. It was a stare of anger and hatred.... Ive seen ghost before when my grandfather died and his coming to me was a very pleasant experience. Anyway I yelled through the door, come and tell me what you want or get the fk out of here. To my surprise the door opened, then slammed shut. (right about now I was ready to shit my pants). Anyway I felt someone standing three inches in front of my face and I said, talk or get the fk out of here and leave me alone. The ghost stared at me for another 30 seconds, opened the door, slammed it, walked down the stairs and left the a/o. Now Im thinking Holly shit batman I pulled the Sgt aside after shift and told him of my experience. He started laughing and said well that make sense. I forgot to tell you. Every year who ever was working that tower on that date and time gets a visit. It is an old tower rat that killed himself in 1969. So Im curious did any of you have similar experiences?
