Anybody ever work with the short lived A-BUS audio system? It sent line-level audio over Cat5 pair with local amplifiers at the volume controls. An old client of mine had his house pre-wired for this system. Recently he complained that the system hadnt worked after the cable company had worked in the data panel. I figured that they jostled the twisted pair conductors that carried power and we would be back up in no time. But no. They went ahead and completely unhooked every twisted pair cable on the ABUS punchdown block. I suspect they send the new guy.
