Anybody familiar with this movie? Yesterday was the 30th anniversary, in case you didnt know. This film rose up a lot of controversy when it came out because its about a killer Santa Clause and other stupid reasons. Its inappropriate for kids! Well, yeah! Its an R rated horror film. Your kid doesnt have to see it! Dont like the concept? Dont watch it! Our kids associate themselves with Santa Clause! Yeah? Well Halloween was an R rated horror film about a holiday that kids associate themselves with and nobody complained about that. And an episode of Tales From The Crypt had an episode of a killer Santa Clause and there also was a horror film released in 1980 called Christmas Evil and yet nobody complained about either one of those two. How dare they make a Christmas themed horror film! Youre making it sound like the filmmakers are bad people. You dont know them! Just because they made a film about something bad that happened it doesnt mean that they agree with it. Did Disney agree that its okay to kill when they made Lion King? Its Christmas themed for the same reason why everything else is Christmas themed! If you think Christmas films should be fun family movies and only that, then thats just your opinion. But the people who want more have every right to have that. Dont like it? Not trying to sound rude, but too bad!
