Anybody that knows me will not be at all surprised at this!! Look who came to live with us yesterday!! When a little guy this adorable sort of just falls into your lap you dont say no...at least I seem unable to do so!LOL It was instant love between the pup and my other two dogs - Abbie (shown) and Attila - didnt get pics with Attila yet but they bonded immediately. The cat is still in hiding, however. Actually, there was a method to my madness - Attila was really missing Karim and it was becoming worrisome. He was so unhappy - and without Karim he had no job - his whole expression changed and so did his behavior - he insisted on coming into the house which he never wanted to do before - he would visit for about 15 minutes and then want out again. Now he was coming over a gate and jumping against the house, door, windows - actually broke and bent part of a window frame. I decided he needed a companion and considered a goat, but they are just too much trouble and I am not set up for livestock - even thought about getting a pig. Had a couple rescue dogs in mind but there are difficulties involved - and then I saw an ad for this little guy - free (hah! not so free once he gets shots, worming, neutered, etc!LOL) and not very far away. So, I snapped him up!! Fleas, worms, skin problems and all - fleas already dealt with, worms next, visit to the vet imminent! He is half Boxer (his purebred mama went slumming!LOL), 8 weeks old and full of energy and chewing on everything. I swore no more puppies but I guess I can deal with it one more time!!! This is one rescue that got to skip the shelter part. For now I guess Attila can still be a house dog at least part time - he is already settling down and once the pup is a little older he can spend part of every day playing with Attila. We are a family! Still working on a name.
