Anybody who attempts an assessment of the relevance of the just ended National economic forum without placing much premium on Changing the Narrative and most importantly Building National Consensus, but limits such an assessment of relevance to the economic ideas of the forum ( which largely is known already) is not only likely to miss the overarching impact of the forum but will undoubtedly be engaged in an exercise in futility. The questions we should be asking are; 1. Did we achieve the desired Consensus? 2. Did the NPP deny the good people of Ghana the opportunity of a national consensus that would have led to economic revolution with the boycott? 3. Will the government privilege economic prudence over political capital despite the NPP boycott? etc...
