Anyone else get a Christmas surprise from hydro? The gift of a bigger, no explanation, reading that came with wacko calculations, no details, matching average daily usage between summer and winter months BIG you owe us bill?? Two recalculation bills issued: one from May-August and September -December. Recalculations where some bills were supposed to be actual readings already! Not to mention that we had gotten a recalculation bill in May from the 14 months prior because they couldnt read our meter. There is no way we owe them more money than weve paid, there is no way we average the exact same low, mid, high peak usage in the winter vs summer. We have a pool and had hot tub...these alone would dictate a HUGE daily usage difference between May-August and Sept-Dec. Pool running daily from June-Aug, closed in September. Hot tub running May-July, off and completely August-September, sold October... Im not even going to get into the difference between those months as far as on peak lighting, etc. You cant even argue with them over it because they have not split the months up, there is no distinguishing of the information...nothing! No recourse! No credit for estimate billing, nothing! So pissed! Merry Christmas assholes!
